More than a Perfumer, Ainslie has claimed title of Scentsmith – designing and developing scents, writing about fragrances and perfume, hand making fragrance, creating olfactory installations and artworks, developing fragrance strategy and interpreting brands and even finds time to teach perfume making workshops.

Ainslie has collaborated on extraordinary scented projects with Country Road, Disney, The Strand Arcade, Tamara Dean, Courtesy of the Artist, Aje, Frida Las Vegas, Liz Ham, Mud Australia, MONA and Carriageworks, She has won the Jasmine Award for her fragrance writing and been recommended by and featured in titles such as Broadsheet Sydney, Concrete Playground, Good Weekend Magazine, The Australian Financial Review Magazine, Luxury Magazine, The Weekend Australia Magazine and Sydney Morning Herald. She has international reach and influence in the fragrance industry through her social channels @ainslie_walker and @scentsmith and through the articles she writes for magazines and blogs.
Scent designer Ainslie Walker has been exploring scent since her earliest memories, growing up in countryside Australia. Since the early 90’s, in high school she studied aromatherapy and after school trained and worked as a naturopath, developing and manufacturing her own products along the way. In London in the early 00’s she elevated into working in high-end heath stores and spas including product development, specialising in men’s grooming before studying and moving into the world of perfumery.
Ainslie pays homage to the glamorous the world of perfumery, adding her unique spin. She has a large collection of perfumes and exquisite raw materials sourced from all over the world – including rare Australian botanicals. Quality and traceability is of utmost importance.
